DMCA Takedown Process

  • Geelecol will review the complaint

  • The allegedly infringing content may be removed or disabled

  • We may contact the content provider for clarification

  • Additional information may be requested if necessary

Counter Notification

If you believe that content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification.

Your counter-notification must include:

  • your contact information

  • identification of the removed content

  • a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed in error

  • your consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate legal authority

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, Geelecol may restore the content unless the original complainant files a legal action.

Abuse of DMCA Notices

Submitting false or misleading copyright claims may result in legal liability.

Geelecol reserves the right to take appropriate action against parties who knowingly submit fraudulent DMCA complaints.
